Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, produce, and edit videos, display banners, and social graphics that help generate brand awareness and engagement, - Repurpose content for social marketing on Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok and other vertical video platforms, - Use digital/social media advertising tools to build and deploy marketing ads/campaigns, - Monitor social posts for trending topics and hashtags for re-marketing, - Foster social engagement and growth by consistently responding to users’ email, text messages, or social comments, - Moderate brand pages and comments for profanity, bullying and hate speech, - Assist with breaking news marketing and social response as needed, sometimes on weeknights and weekends, - Partner with marketing director on digital/social media strategies, - Other responsibilities might be assigned by the Director of Marketing.Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, - At least 2-years in a digital and social media marketing role at a medium-to-large television station, media organization, or agency. - Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop), - Technical knowledge of social media platforms and analytics reporting, - Strong writer who can transform complex information into compelling ad copy, - Self-starter who thrives on getting things done, sometimes with little or no direction, - Passion to deliver a quality consistent brand experience for the audience, - Social media savviness to understand the landscape and the lingo, - Solid organization and time management in a fast-paced environment, - Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, - Attention to detail to maintain high professional standards and quality, - Manage and track multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines, - Must be willing to work in New Orleans, La. NOT a remote position, - Must have the ability to work flexible hours when needed, including: nights, weekends, and holidays.Contact:
