Essential Functions:
Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and close new and renewing business partners for underwriting and sponsorships across all platforms (on-air, online, streaming, podcasts, and events).
Relationship Management: Maintain an active pipeline of prospects through identification, qualification, and stewardship efforts, ensuring strong relationships and engagement.
Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of sponsorship agreements, from contract development to fulfillment, working collaboratively with the Corporate Support to ensure timely delivery of on-air, online, and event elements.
Compliance: Educate sponsors about PBS and FCC regulations and ensure compliance with all guidelines.
Financial Management: Provide sponsors with proof of fulfillment, work with the business office for timely billing and invoicing and negotiate underwriting and marketing packages.
Budgeting: Develop and manage the annual department budget.
Community Engagement: Represent NH Public Broadcasting at community events and meetings to cultivate and steward relationships.
Data Analysis: Analyze market trends and data reporting to inform sales strategies.
Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings, participate in station projects, and assist with other organizational activities as needed.
Foundations and Grants: Many corporations are now providing sponsorships through foundation divisions. This position will make case statements across the giving spectrum to increase opportunities for project and infrastructure funding and support.

Responsibilities:
Excellent communication skills across all channels (internal, external, and electronic), including experience in public relations, donor relations, and sales. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fast-paced work environment. Deep passion for public media and a strong belief in the mission of NH Public Broadcasting, PBS, and their services. Proficiency with essential software such as Microsoft Office Suite, underwriting scheduling programs (e.g., ProTrack), and CRM tools. Relevant education and experience: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work history in sales, development, fundraising, or a related field. Knowledge of PBS and FCC regulations.
