Studio Coordinator / Announcer & Social Media Guru Wanted – WIXX!

Are you a night-owl with a passion for pop music and a knack for engaging social media content?

The number one radio station in northeast Wisconsin, 101 WIXX, is looking for an overnight /  early-morning studio coordinator/ announcer who can keep our listeners entertained and seamlessly transition into assisting the morning show’s social media buzz.

Responsibilities:

Provide regular on-air updates with timely / local information.
Create and deliver entertaining and engaging content for our social media audience.
Create and schedule social media content for the morning show, ensuring a strong online presence.
Monitor social media channels and interact with listeners, responding to comments and messages.
Collaborate with the morning show team to develop creative social media campaigns and promotions.
Repackage and distribute morning show’s content via station social channels.
Assist with other on-air duties as needed, including promotions and events.
Requirements:

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Understanding of social media user habits, trends and effective ways to reach specific demographic targets.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a public setting.
Ability to work overnight / early morning shifts.
Previous experience as a radio host with a marketing and/or communications background preferred but not required.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content both on-air and online.
Familiarity with northeast Wisconsin culture, pop music and current trends in the industry.
