About our Analytics Team

Boncoms Analytics team is charged with providing actionable insights for creative and marketing teams. Our team collaborates with various groups across the company on a variety of projects; everything from ad click-level data, to offline outcomes.

About this Role

As a Data Analyst, youll empower various teams by modeling, analyzing and reporting on data trends to assist in making business decisions. Successful candidates will be comfortable working within a variety of data sources, which includes establishing processes for using data from new sources. Examples of projects include: managing ETL for client data, consulting on the launch of new web features, analysis for building audience segments, analyzing marketing outreach campaigns, and providing data-driven insights to optimize digital experiences.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintain and evolve SQL scripts that support ETL data pipeline
Model performance to determine key drivers and predict success
Partner with Boncom teams to conduct in-depth quantitative analyses that guide strategic decisions
Make recommendations based on detailed analysis and understanding of clients business
Build and maintain reports, models, and visualizations which provide insight into campaign performance
Contribute to team culture through peer collaboration, training, coaching


Must-Have Qualifications

4+ years experience working in quantitative or analytical role
BA/BS degree, preferably in Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Math, or Computer Science
Proficiency using SQL to query large datasets
Experience with building dashboards in Tableau and Tableau Server
Sharp business judgment and the ability to see past the noise
Strong communicator with the ability to explain technical results to a non-technical audience
Proven ability to solve complex problems
Ability to detect and debug anomalies in complex data processes
Curiosity to learn new skills and apply them in novel ways to solve challenging problems
Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Advanced degree with an emphasis in data analytics
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
Proficiency with programming languages (e.g., R)
Familiarity with APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP)
