WDAY is an Emmy award-winning, locally owned and operated station that covers eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.  We produce over 30 hours of local news each week. We have a staff of over 35 journalists working in news, weather, and sports.  We also provide outside training and one on one coaching for our team members.  Our newsroom includes spacious work areas for each employee, a makeup room, meeting spaces and a relaxation area complete with couches, televisions, and fireplace.

Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota and borders Moorhead, Minnesota.  The metro population is over 240,000, including the cities of Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota and Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota.  Fargo has a vibrant downtown with many activities and events geared towards young professionals. The community hosts many major concerts, sporting, and community events throughout the year.  The FM area has many different styles of apartments to choose from, including several new apartment buildings in several new neighborhoods. The communities have plenty of options for shopping, from local specialty shops to major retailers.


WDAY, the #1 station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for an anchor/producer to lead our 9 pm newscast, join our team and work in our multi-platform newsroom.  You will anchor and help produce our Monday - Friday 9 pm news and fill-in on the 6 pm and 10 pm when need.  You will also do some reporting when needed.


The successful candidate should have at least one year of anchoring experience, exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.
