Job Overview
KSLA, a CBS affiliate in Shreveport LA, is currently recruiting for a dynamic leader to become a Transactional Sales Manager for Local and National accounts.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:

 

Candidate must possess strong leadership, motivational and sales skills along with a proven track record of success.
Manage a team of transactional AEs to maximize share on both Local and National transactional accounts.
Manage day to day activity of National Sales Rep Firm.
Exceptional skills in recruiting, coaching and training sellers is a must.
Achieving digital and broadcast sales objecitves, building relationships, communicating clearly and concisely, as well as the ability to accurately forecast, budget and execute a strategic plan is critical.
Spreadsheet and above average TV sales software skills are important, including Wide Orbit, Matrix, Comscore, Media Sales and Sharebuilders.

Requirements:

EDUCATIONAL and/ or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree from a four year College or University,and two or more years of Management experience Preferred.  Required skills include pro-active creative leadership, new business development, sales training, relationship building and a successful track record in television sales.
