Perform KSL Broadcast Groups radio commercial scheduling functions accurately, confidentially and efficiently to ensure that all commercials and programming sold by the Sales and Programming teams are scheduled to air in accordance with company policies and FCC guidelines.



Coordinate closely with various ad agencies, radio sales personnel, and in-house production and programming departments to ensure the correct audio is assigned to each commercial spot
Assign in-house production team with production orders of commercials to be dubbed, produced, and/or prepared for airing and assure completion deadlines. Media check dubbed spots both end of day and following morning for production errors.
Keep accurate inventory of all current commercials including assigning numbers and managing erasures
Responsible for daily filing and maintaining separate accurate audio files for all active and inactive broadcast contracts
Reconcile all logs the next working day after airing to verify air times of commercials and assign appropriate explanations if missed or pre-empted
Code and key all broadcast orders into computer systems accurately and make sure all contracts have management approval
Provide back-up to other department personnel in preparing logs and other tasks as assigned
Be able to work independently and anticipate and correct potential problems with sellers, in-house production and ad agencies
Fill out and submit affidavits on timely basis



Experience with data entry and ability to do so in an accurate manner
Previous experience with radio or TV commercial traffic preferred
Experience with Wide-orbit commercial traffic system preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Well-developed problem solving abilities
Excellent time management
Highly organized with attention to detail
Able to make decisions without close supervision
Able to manage stress effectively

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
