KAIT-TV is seeking an aggressive, digitally savvy content producer to work with its award-winning news team. The ideal candidate will be a great writer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy writing, technology, and all things digital, this is the job for you.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Working quickly to send out breaking news, weather, and traffic alerts, including push notifications, social media updates, and web stories · Posting to our online and social media platforms · Updating stories on multiple platforms as they develop · Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technology · Monitoring assignment desk and police scanners · Fielding viewer calls and confirming details and tips with appropriate sources · Writing engaging digital headlines & compelling posts on social media · Clipping video for website · Ability to produce on-air newscastsRequirements:
· College degree preferred · Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment · Knowledge of ENPS is a plus · Must be able to take direction from News Director, Assistant News Director, Digital Director and Digital Executive Producer · Must be a team playerContact:
