KTBS-TV is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow regional advertising revenue for both there linear television and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of broadcast and digital media, and the ability to foster long-term client relationships. This position requires a strategic thinker with proven success in generating revenue across multiple channels, particularly in television and digital advertising.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and execute sales strategies to grow regional advertising revenue across both linear (broadcast) and digital platforms. - Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with regional clients and advertising agencies, ensuring long-term partnership. - Drive revenue by selling commercial time and digital advertising packages that align with client needs and company goals. - Collaborate with the digital and broadcast teams to create integrated media solutions that meets client objectives. - Stay informed on industry trends, including new digital and linear opportunities, to maintain a competitive edge. - Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns. - Provide regular sales forecast, activity reports, and updates on market conditions to senior management. - Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, content, and operations) to optimize sales strategies and ensure client satisfaction.Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (preferred but not required). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years of experience in broadcast television and/or digital media sales. - Strong knowledge of broadcast and digital advertising landscape, including programmatic, OTT, and cross-platform advertising. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal teams. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Experience with CMR tools and sales analytics to track and report performance. - A clear driving record, valid driver’s license and a satisfactory pre-employment drug test and background check required. Experience: - Experience working in a regional and/or national sales role, with a network of regional and/or national client relationships. - Understanding of Nielsen rating, ComScore, Google Analytics, and other media measurement tools. - Proficiency in Wide Orbit and other sales-related software platforms.Contact:
