Midwest Communications, MI, with radio stations in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Holland, Coldwater and Lansing, is looking for a PC/Network Technician who under the guidance of our Network Administrator will provide technical maintenance support for PCs, local and/or wide area networks, installation of PC hardware, including peripherals; load programs and prepare systems for users and assist users with applications.  This individual may also be involved with operating activities related to audio automation, telephone and communication line technology.  Additional responsibilities will include working in connection with the Director of IT and Network Administrator on major projects to include new installations, enhancements, relocations or major upgrades, personally be involved with the installanation of all computers, hardware, software audio automation, telecommunications, maintain and enhance network integrity/security, maintain company computer hardware, software and networking equipment, and provide Midwest approved software applications to end users as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

The individual should have strong computer, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people and personalities as well as a strong knowledge of computer hardware; Microsoft Products including but not limited to Windows 7, 8 & 10, 2008 Server, 2012 Server, 2016 Server; networking equipment and technology.

 

Requirements:
