We currently own and operate 14 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5 in Salt Lake. Position: Bonneville is seeking an experienced talk show host who will contribute to the stations team efforts by performing as an on-air personality who attracts target audiences and builds ratings in line with the desired station format.




Three to five (3-5) years on-air experience with a proven record of success
College degree in communication, journalism, related field or equivalent preferred
Ability to conduct talk shows and on-air performances with acceptable presence, professional demeanor, and charisma which exudes confidence and relates effectively with other on-air personnel
Possess a variety of characteristics such as spontaneity and flair while also showing depth, good content judgement and sensitivity
Ability to enunciate clearly, speak confidently, and interpret and read copy fluently
Ability to understand and execute format philosophy and work with a team of other professionals in creating a distinctive sound
Ability to operate studio equipment as needed
Desire and ability to innovate show segments and develop creative new performance ideas
Commitment to work with sales department to develop client relationships and generate ideas and revenue
Ability to accept direction and be flexible with changes
Ability to work in a fast and concise manner under pressure with demonstrated ability to present live and ad-lib unscripted performances with continuity, meaning and clarity
Well-read, knowledgeable, and articulate in current affairs
Consistently work hours required; work more when needed to meet deadlines including odd shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
Work effectively in a team environment
Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients
Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
An in-house audition under the direction of the program director may be required
Physical Demands:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively
Substantial physical movement (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pound on occasion
