Description:

KSLA-TV, Louisiana is looking for an Investigative Reporter who is well-versed in finding public records, strong at building sources and can lead our investigative team in planning short-term and long-term projects.  Candidate will also work with the awarding-winning ROYCOM investigative team for high-impact stories.  We are looking for someone who has a two or three-year track record of investigative stories and has the reel to prove it.   Although this is chiefly an investigative reporting jig, the right candidate should know that they will be doing general assignment work as needed, depending on staffing.  We want a passionate candidate who is aggressive and able to provide extensive documentation for investigative content on all our platforms.

Candidate must also be able to cover breaking news by quickly providing deep background for breaking investigative stories.  Ability to tell compelling stories and be a strong live reporter is a must.

Qualified candidates, please apply online  http://careers-raycommedia.icims.com/6737/investigative-reporter/job and attach resume and link to your work.  No phone calls, please.
