San Diego’s radio station, 100.7 KFM-BFM, is searching for an experienced Assistant Program Director/On-Air talent that can assist and work with the Program Director to execute daily tasks related to station programming and operations as well as perform a daily on-air shift. Position will act as a liaison between Programming and other station departments and will serve as a back-up to the Program Director and other on-air staff, as necessary. Additional responsibilities will include assistance with the scheduling and editing of daily music logs; collaboration with the Program Director and Creative Services Director on the writing of station imaging/promos; and coordination of weekly on-air schedules as well as the scheduling of image production/promos, as needed. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and must have a complete understanding of how to communicate effectively through Social Media. We are looking for someone that is a passionate rock-n-roll fan with broad music knowledge and that can authentically deliver that passion on the air! Position requirements include a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Program Director or Assistant Program Director; strong familiarity and understanding of MusicMaster and/or Selector; and experience with ENCO, NexGen, WideOrbit, AudioVault or other digital delivery platforms.
